花蓮縣吉安國小、太昌國小、自強國中部分學生於106年6月8日下午4時起，陸續出現嘔吐、腹痛等疑似食品中毒症狀。縣府教育處及花蓮縣衛生局接獲通報後，立即啟動校園調查及處理機制。縣府秘書長顏新章與相關局處首長亦趕赴慈濟醫院，全程瞭解關心學生就醫情形，並提供必要協助。

縣府教育處長劉美珍指出，六名吉安國小學生昨(8)日食用自太昌國小中央廚房製備之餐食後，約下午4時起陸續出現嘔吐症狀，因値放學期間，由校方通知家長帶學童就醫。之後，陸續接獲太昌國小、自強國中回報學生出現類似食品中毒情況。

劉美珍說，由太昌國小中央廚房供應午餐的學校尚有吉安國小及自強國中。經統計，太昌國小計有58人出現腸胃不適症狀，其中39位就醫；吉安國小111人有上述症狀，其中58位就醫；自強國中322人有上述症狀，其中109位就醫。衛生局則於今(9)日完成採檢三校留存之餐食檢體及學生糞便，並送行政院衛生福利部食品藥物管理署化驗，以確認本案原因，檢驗結果預計一週內出爐。 

她特別強調，已請校方密切留意學童狀況，並請醫院全力協助就診學童。此外，要求太昌國小中央廚房自今(9)日起暫停供餐，直至衛生主管機關檢驗結果符合規定，始得供餐，同時啟動支援供餐模式，保障學童用餐權益。倘檢驗結果屬廠商應負之責任或疏失，將依契約罰款，情節嚴重者，予以終止與該廠商之契約；教育處與衛生局亦持續加強稽查校園餐飲衛生，確保學生飲食安全無虞。 

花蓮縣衛生局長李宏滿表示，依據食品安全衛生管理法第15條第1項第4款規定，食品染有病原性生物，或經流行病學調查認定屬造成食品中毒之病因者，不得製造、加工、調配、包裝、運送、貯存、販賣、輸入、輸出、作為贈品或公開陳列，違者依同法第44條規定處新臺幣6萬元以上2億元以下罰鍰；情節重大者，並得命其歇業、停業一定期間、廢止其公司、商業、工廠之全部或部分登記事項，或食品業者之登錄；經廢止登錄者，一年內不得再申請重新登錄。
